Child Size Xylophone

Linda needs a child size xylophone for a welcome kit she's working on. If you have one that you're willing to donate, please let Heidi know.

Two Weeks and Two Hours

The countdown is on. Two weeks from tonight, every neighbor in our neighborhood is invited to participate in the Heart to Heart project at 6:30. On May 10th, we want to see you and yours at the church building next to the Jordan River Temple. We will be working at four different work stations. If you'd like to make a donation to purchase supplies, please contact Heidi for details on how to do that. We need all hands!

Tomorrow morning at 10:30, an Advanced Crochet Class will be taught at Linda's Workshop. If you've mastered the basics and want some advanced instruction, take your supplies and head on over to the basement of Destinations Travel in South Jordan.

Workshop April 19

Next workshop is scheduled at Heidi's house for Tuesday, April 19th at 10am. Bring your handiwork for the Heart to Heart Project and come visit while you accomplish great things!

Help Wanted

I have five small quilt kits that need to be tied. The top, bottom, batting, and yarn are all included in each kit. Please let Heidi know if you are able and willing to help so we can get these returned to Linda. Thank you very much!

Cotton Shop Coupon

Charlaine found a great deal at The Cotton Shop. Fleece is 60% off through the end of the month. The trick is that you have to have the coupon to get the deal, and I can't figure out how to get it on this blog! If you would like the coupon sheet, please contact Heidi, and I can email it right to you.

Fleece Blankets

When you buy fleece for a blanket, we have found that 1 1/2 yards is a great size. Jo-Ann Fabrics has weekly coupons and frequent sales to make your dollars stretch. When you find a deal or a sale or a coupon, please let all of us know!

Crochet class

Thanks to those who participated in the crochet classes the last couple of weeks. A special thank you to Kris who willingly taught these classes. We couldn't have done it without her! Here's a picture from last Tuesday night; amazing progress was made in just two hours.
