Workshop Models

Of course, we need models to display the hats and scarves that Kris and Janette are whipping up. We also need to make sure the hats fit a child's head. Thanks to these little cutey pies for trying things on and patiently letting us photograph them.

Four Days and Counting

I am looking forward to Tuesday night. It will be exciting for the whole neighborhood to come together to perform humanitarian service. See you at 6:30. This week, the teenagers in our neighborhood personally delivered invitations to every household. Thanks to them for their efforts on Wednesday evening.

Recently, I learned Linda is looking for the following toys/stuffed animals to complete kits that she has been working on. If you have any of these toys in your house that you're willing to part with or see them while you're out on the town and can purchase them, Linda would be very grateful. She is looking for the following: Sponge Bob Square Pants, Boots (Dora's monkey friend), Donkey from Shrek, Scooby Doo, Big Bird, Toy Story characters, Disney princesses, Sleeping Beauty, Hello Kitty, Spiderman, Superman, Precious Moments, Smiley Faces, or Raggedy Andy. Linda is also low on hygiene items for babies. At the dollar stores, there is a kit for $1 that includes a small lotion, body wash, and shampoo.

Thank you for all your are doing to make the Heart to Heart Project a success.

We are nine days away from our evening of Humanitarian Service. I have been talking to many of you and feel every enthused by your generosity, interest, and excitement. Be sure to have 6:30 on May 10th on your calendar and bring everyone in our neighborhood to help!

A few days ago, I made a delivery of donations that I have received. Note the change in the totals on this blog. Thanks for your support of this project that benefits these women and children.
