This Week at Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores

I went into the Jo-Ann at Family Center this afternoon to buy some material for blankets. The fleece with patterns on it is on sale for 50% off this week! One simple way to make a fleece throw (that doesn't require any sewing) is to buy 1 1/2 yards of fleece that is 58 inches wide. To finish the throw, you simply need two skills: cutting with scissors and tying knots. If you can do these two things, you are in good shape.

The total for a whole fleece throw using this method is just under $10 while the sale is on. I found dinosaur, bug, jungle theme, and skate boarding themed fleece.

If you're able, now is a good time to pick up fleece for one throw or maybe enough to keep you busy for a while. I got a stack of six since even my kids can easily put these together while they're watching a movie.

Don't forget we're meeting at Heidi's at 10am tomorrow morning. I am happy to demonstrate this method.
